The A page of The Alphabet Book. This differs
from other Alphabet books because of the use of the both types
of lowercase 'A’. Something that every child comes across
and is baffled by to start with. |

numerous items beginning with the letter A. |

A quirky poem about ‘Granddad’ (my father)
who doesn’t have much hair, in fact we named the few
that were left before I left home!
Written as a child see things, observationally.

This is the first full colour illustration that I produced
specifically for a book.
I entered it into a competition for Julia Donaldson’s
new book. Unfortunately it did not make it through to the
final.
